Stays to Steampunk- A history of Corsetry with Megan Starr

Before modern undergarments, stays and corsetry supported and shaped the body. With changing fashions, corsets also changed shape, altering the waistline. We will look at the earliest forms of corsetry, through a timeline of history, discussing the techniques and materials with which they were made, to modern made corsets today and their prevalence as a steampunk fashion staple.
