Storytelling With Your Costume goes into the detailing of creation. Marlene and I use current examples of our work and costumes, as well as past mistakes to show that anyone can create a character and story if they want to. We go into writing ideas and sketching, choosing materials, being open to learning new techniques, how small and large details both contribute to the story, developing a persona if you want to go that extra mile, and final touch ups and adjustments. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to join the discussion throughout the panel.
