Redbird Bakery
I am a professional baker with 10+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, and this past year I opened my own home bakery. Inspired by Bourbon City Steam, I am creating a menu of themed confections: Flavors will play on Derby Day favorites like Mint Julep, Bourbon Balls, and Race Day Pie, along with a few spooky themed treats featuring flavors such as dark chocolate with raspberry and caramel apple. I plan to offer boxes of petit fours and truffles, bags of cookies, and cupcake packs, with plenty of allergen-friendly options for con goers with food allergies. In addition, my husband and I are plotting a few complementary non-food items, including steampunk-inspired puzzle boxes and hand-embroidered spooky designs.

Sapphire Mountain is an eclectic hippie, grunge, goth sort of variety gift shop which offers a variety of common and weird themes. both handmade and otherwise. I offer things such as crocheted cute/regular, oddball and fantasy things like dragons, monsters and plague doctors, sewn bags and purses some of which are odd, such as a rat bag, guitar bag and clock bags , sewn dolls (my latest creation being a very large falcor) paintings, stickers, prints, pins, stationary, candy bracelets, recently started working on some odd metal jewelry( y2k sort and made from parts from hardware stores nuts, bolts etc and guitar strings). possible candles, polished stones , incense and incense burners, some t shirts, perfume oils and linen sprays.. This is not an exhaustive list of the things I offer as I am an artist who has a vision and I will make it regardless of what material it is made from, but this is an example of some things I offer.
Two places I have recently vended at was the Fenrir Viking festival in Emminence, ky and the Louisville comi con where I received the invite card to apply for this event. I have included my facebook page that shows a small amount of the things i have made, so you can determine if these sorts of things will fit the vibe you are going for. I can certainly offer more gothic and odd versions of my items
