We will take the attendee through the history of Savate as well as demonstrate the basics of the art. From it's roots as a native kicking art of France to the streets of Europe, Savate made a name for itself as a self defense art long before it was a sport.
The Victorian student would study the basics of Savate including the Chasse Bas, Coup de Pied Bas, Chasse Lateral, punching and counter punching . Attendendees will have an opportunity to see and practice these basics . There will be no contact between participants for this presentation.
